Office Administrator
Jackie Conway Scanlon joined Ibis Legacy Law after a teaching career in the Shaker Heights City School District. Jackie earned her bachelor's degree from Case Western Reserve University and her master's degree from Teachers College at Columbia University. She brings organizational and tech skills from the classroom to our practice. She loves helping people, learning new things, problem-solving, and creating user-friendly systems.
Jackie grew up hearing conversations about estate planning within her home - her father was an attorney who specialized in creating endowments for individuals wanting to leave a legacy at schools, churches, and other non-profits throughout Cleveland. Blending her interests in finances, ancestry, and worrying-like-she-gets-paid-for-it, Jackie finds her job at Ibis Legacy Law a perfect fit for her. She feels pride in being part of Becky's team that helps families develop a security blanket of comfort and financial safety for their loved ones.
When not in the office, Jackie likes listening to music, enjoys hiking the Doan Brook Gorge with her dog, loves watching movies with her husband, and gets a kick out of sending her grown children an overabundance of funny texts and helpful articles.
